Congratulations to Democratic Primary Run-off winners!

I would like to extend my congratulations to every person who won their respective Democratic Primary Run-Off race yesterday!

Barbara Ann Radnofsky handily defeated 80 year old Gene Kelly from San Antonio to win the party's nomination for US Senate and will take on Kay Baily Hutchinson in November. This is a tough race, but one that can be won if enough people help out in getting BAR's message out, and if enough people realize what a useless Senator KBH has been since she's been in office.

Borris Miles won the Democratic candidacy for Texas State Representative over 26 year veteran Al Edwards. Al Edwards started out as a pioneer for Civil Rights, but ended up being a self indulgent toady for the Republican Party. It was time for change and I hope that Mr. Miles makes that happen. The Republicans were behind Al Edwards re-election, so they didn't bother to put up candidate for that race. There is a Libertarian running, however. That pretty much means Borris Miles will be the new State Rep for District 146.

Maria Luisa Alvarado defeated Ben Z. Grant for a chance to unseat Republican incumbent David Dewhurst.

Ted Ankrum defeated Paul Foreman for the chance to unseat Tom DeLay lackey, and Diebold henchman Michael McCaul in the 10th Congressional District. Libertarian Michael Badnarik also will be on the ballot in the November general election. Badnarik has run for President as the Libertarian candidate in the past.

I have personally met and spoken to all of these candidates, with the exception of MLA. They are all top-notch people and deserve your support and your vote in November. It's time to make a change in this State and in this Country. You CAN make a difference.

It's ON!

So Tom Delay's campaign manager Chris Homan is angry that his master "cut and run" on him, so he ordered all of his neo-con thugs to go down to Sugarland and disrupt Nick Lampson's press conference this morning. It's fine to disagree with someone, but to physically attack elderly ladies is inexcusable.

Read more here and here

Here's the email that Chris Homan sent out:

We would meet tomorrow morning at 9:45 am on the first floor of the parking garage attached to the Marriott. Please get folks to call our campaign office 281.343.1333 and let us know they can do it – or e-mail Leonard Cash (in the cc field above) so that we can get some head count. Let’s give Lampson a parting shot that wrecks his press conference.

I called Tom DeLay's office and asked to speak to Chris Homan. The person who answered refused to put me on the phone with him stating that "he's very busy, sir". I told him that ordering his thugs tharassss people and assault the elderly was uncalled for and that I hope all of him and all of his Republican thug friends rot in ass-rape prison. I wouldn't normally use such language with anyone, but I am so damned outraged by this, I can't stand it.

You want a war, GOPiggies with your fellow Americans? Keep it up and we'll see how many of these old ladies fight back. You musrememberer that even though your gulicensece has been revoked, old ladies still might be packing. I wouldn't test them if I were you.

Early voting for Harris County starts today!

Don't forget to go vote! Early voting begins today and it's very important that everyone go and vote for Barbara Ann Radnofsky so she'll have the chance to kick KBH in the fall!

Tom DeLay resigns in SHAME!!!

After months of hard work by several organizations commited to bringing out the truth about the evil corruption of Tom DeLay, he announced today that he will resign from Congress.

It's only a matter of time before he gets hammered in the slammer!

Pay back's a bitch, BITCH!

read more from The Houston Chonicle

or better yet, read this disgusting interview Tom and Christine DeLay gave to Time Magazine tonight. Bottom line is, Tom DeLay wants to quit Congress because he'll make more money as a lobbyist...
